JR九州ツアー報告
特別運行された「特急かわせみ やませみ」で久住のウイスキーが楽しめる特別な旅JR九州オリジナルツアー『歴史と新しい魅力をめぐる 竹田城下町と久住高原グルメ日帰り旅』が1月24日(土)に開催されました。
熊本駅から代表の宇戸田とスタッフの金堀も乗車し、直接ご説明させていただきながら久住のウイスキーを試飲していただきました。
日頃は熊本県の人吉への観光列車として運行している「特急かわせみ やませみ」ですが、熊本駅から豊後竹田駅までを特別運行！この日は、ちょうど雪が降った日で、特別な列車で雪景色を眺めながら久住のウイスキーをご堪能していただけたようです。
短い時間ではございますが蒸溜所見学も実施。反省しきりでしたがご参加の皆様には喜んでいただけたようで安堵いたしました。いただいた課題は今後に活かしてまいります。

A special JR Kyushu original tour featuring Kuju Whisky on the special “Kawasemi Yamasemi” Limited Express.
The “Takeda Castle Town and Kuju Highlands Gourmet Day Trip: Exploring History and New Charms” was held on Saturday, January 24th.
Representative Utoda and staff member Kanabori boarded the train from Kumamoto Station and enjoyed a tasting of Kuju Whisky while receiving a personal explanation.
The “Kawasemi Yamasemi” Limited Express usually operates as a sightseeing train to Hitoyoshi in Kumamoto Prefecture, but this time it ran a special route from Kumamoto Station to Bungo-Takeda Station! It happened to be snowing that day, so participants enjoyed Kuju Whiskey while taking in the snowy scenery on this special train.
A short tour of the distillery was also included. While we had many regrets, we were relieved that participants seemed to enjoy the experience. We will use the feedback we received to improve our performance in the future.
