しかし、せっかく遠路はるばる大分県の山奥まで遠路お越しいただくのに申し訳ない、と「タイミングが合えば」という前置きがございましたが、試験的に受け入れを実施しておりました。
多くの樽が眠る熟成庫は庫内に充満するウイスキーの香りをダイレクトに感じられる場所です。

Come and experience the aroma of “Kuju”! Campaign
For a long time, we have regrettably had to decline inquiries asking, “Can we take a tour of the distillery?”
However, it broke our hearts to turn away guests who had traveled all the way to the deep mountains of Oita Prefecture. Because of this, we began accepting tours on a trial basis, with the caveat of “if the timing is right.”
During these past tours, the location that consistently drew the most enthusiastic reaction from our guests was the maturation warehouse. Filled with slumbering casks, the warehouse is a place where you can directly experience the rich aroma of whisky permeating the air.
We want to invite even more people to Kuju Town, Oita Prefecture, to experience the environment surrounding Kuju Distillery—the cradle of our whisky—with all five senses!
Therefore, we are excited to announce a special public campaign: “Let’s go meet the aroma of Kuju!” Although brief (about 5 minutes), this special viewing allows you to tour the distillery, focusing primarily on the maturation warehouse.

Free Admission: Visitors who subscribe to our email newsletter on our official website or follow us on social media will be guided through the maturation warehouse completely free of charge.

On-Site Registration: You can easily register at the store on the day of your visit. Please feel free to ask our staff.

Distillery Shop & Tastings
In our SHOP space, we offer distillery-exclusive bottles and original merchandise. Additionally, you can enjoy tastings of our released whiskies (with a few exceptions) right there in the shop.
Please invite your friends and family and feel free to drop by! With its dazzling fresh greenery, this is the most beautiful time of the year in Kuju. We hope you take this opportunity to come and experience the unforgettable aroma of “Kuju.”
