「久住蒸溜所」が製造するウイスキーが、日本航空（JAL）国際線の機内販売限定プライベートボトル『シングルモルト久住 JAPAN AIRLINES EXCLUSIVE』として採用されました。
本商品は、日本航空（JAL）より2026年5月より販売開始されます。 

発売に先立ち、2026年4月22日（水）にザ・ペニンシュラ東京で開催された「 JAL Craft Whisky Selection 2026 〜空で出会う、クラフトマンシップ〜 」にて、本商品をお披露目いたしました。大分の豊かな自然と、酒販店から造り手へと転身した当社の情熱と久住の自然が織りなす特別な一杯を、空の旅とともにお届けいたします。

■ 機内販売限定商品『シングルモルト久住 JAPAN AIRLINES EXCLUSIVE』について

九州の屋根・くじゅう連山の裾野に広がる雄大な自然の下でウイスキーを生み出す久住蒸溜所からJAL限定の特別な限定ボトル。製造責任者兼ブレンダーの武石 裕が「新たな可能性に挑戦した」と語る本商品はノンピートで3年熟成させた「ファーストフィルバーボンバレル」と「バージンアメリカンオーク樽（新樽）」の2種類の原酒を絶妙にヴァッティングしたダブルカスク仕様です。

バーボン樽由来の個性と新樽のウッディな香りが美しく調和し、久住の自然を象徴するような「緑のフレーバー」が感じられる、力強く多層的な味わいに仕上がりました。ラベルには、夕暮れの久住の空を悠然と横切る一筋の光の軌跡をあしらい、旅人たちのひとときを優雅に彩ります。

From Kuju Highlands in Oita to the World. The “Single Malt Kuju,” a bottle exclusive to JAL international in-flight sales, will be available starting May 2026!

~Unveiled at a JAL-hosted press conference held in Tokyo on Thursday, April 22. A drink that takes flight to the world. A campaign to attract visitors to Kuju is also underway~

Whisky produced by “Kuju Distillery” has been selected as the exclusive private bottling “Single Malt Kuju JAPAN AIRLINES EXCLUSIVE” for Japan Airlines (JAL) international in-flight sales.

This product will go on sale via Japan Airlines (JAL) starting in May 2026.

Ahead of its release, the product was unveiled at the “JAL Craft Whisky Selection 2026 ~Craftsmanship Encountered in the Sky~” event held at The Peninsula Tokyo on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. We are delighted to offer this special drink—a blend of Oita’s rich natural beauty, the passion of our company (which transitioned from a liquor retailer to a distiller), and the natural surroundings of Kuju—to accompany your journey through the skies.

■ About the In-Flight Exclusive Product: “Single Malt Kuju JAPAN AIRLINES EXCLUSIVE”

A special, limited-edition bottle exclusive to JAL from the Kuju Distillery, which crafts whisky amidst the majestic natural landscape at the foot of the Kuju Mountain Range—the “Roof of Kyushu.” Described by Master Distiller and Blender Yu Takeishi as a “challenge to explore new possibilities,” this product is a double-cask blend, masterfully combining two types of spirit: a non-peated, three-year-old “first-fill bourbon barrel” and a “virgin American oak barrel” (new cask).

The distinctive character of the bourbon casks harmonizes beautifully with the woody aroma of the new barrels, resulting in a powerful, multi-layered flavor profile that evokes the “green flavors” symbolic of Kuju’s natural landscape. The label features a streak of light gracefully crossing the Kuju sky at dusk, elegantly enhancing the moments of travelers.
