「シングルモルト久住」3つ目となるシリーズ「tabi」は、久住の味わいの幅をより豊かにするための「旅」がテーマです。 個性をストレートに表現するというよりは、個性が強い原酒なども一定量使いながらバランスの取れたブレンドで生まれる新たな久住の魅力を表現していきます。

「tabi#01」は「甘くてフルーティ」が特徴になっており、香りや味わいの前半にしっかりと主張する甘さがあります。 余韻にかけてフルーティさや柔らかい木香が抜けていく仕上がりです。
「michi」がハウススタイルを追い求める1本の「道」だとすると、「tabi」はそのバリエーションを広げるための「旅」。「久住のウイスキーの可能性を広げるために新たな出会いを求めて飛び出します。

“– tabi –” A Journey to a Memorable Dram

The third series from “Single Malt Kuju,” entitled “tabi” (Journey), explores the theme of travel to enrich and expand the spectrum of Kuju’s flavors.

Rather than simply expressing a straightforward character, this series reveals the new charms of Kuju through a beautifully balanced blend, thoughtfully incorporating measured amounts of highly distinctive malts.

“tabi#01” is defined by its “sweet and fruity” profile, featuring a prominent sweetness that assertively greets you at the forefront of both its aroma and palate. As it transitions into the finish, it leaves a lingering, elegant trail of fruitiness and gentle woody notes.

If “michi” (The Path) represents our singular pursuit of the definitive Kuju house style, then “tabi” (The Journey) is our expedition to expand its variations. We are venturing out to seek new encounters and broaden the possibilities of Kuju whisky.
